       Shawl Weaving Artisan - Designs by Using CAD

       Practice on color and weave effect and different designs using different fabrics

       Objectives : At the end of this exercise you shall be able to
       •  create color and weave effect
       •  create different color and weave designs
       •  learn color arrangement and weave structure affect fabric appearance
       •  relate designs with real fabric samples.

         Requirements

         Tools/Equipment’s/Instruments
          Computer system with CAD software e.g             •  Paint shop pro
         •  Photoshop                                       •  Graph Paper or sample fabric (for reference)
         •  CorelDraw                                       •  Printed copies of different weave structures (plain,
                                                               twill, basket, satin)


       PROCEDURE
       Step 1: Select Weave Structure                       Step 4: Mark Color Order on Grid Edges
